A Blueprint Generation

Living in the current generation, it is undeniable that there is a strong emphasis on self-improvement. This trend is prevalent and has various implications that are worth exploring further. It raises questions about the motivations behind this pursuit of self-enhancement. Are individuals genuinely striving for self-awareness and personal growth, or has this journey towards improvement transformed into a form of self-obsession? The fine line between the two can be intriguing to dissect.

That said, the idea of physical individuality diminishing is a thought-provoking observation. In a world where beauty standards are heavily influenced by societal trends and media portrayals, the pressure to conform to certain aesthetic ideals can be overwhelming. The experience of feeling out of place for not adhering to these standards, sheds light on the impact of such beauty norms on personal identity and self-perception. Filters, editing suites, beauty enhancements, they're all tools made available to us on most social media platforms. It's just another way to tap you on the shoulder to say "hi, use me, because you're not enough without me!".

Sowing such an unhealthy seed in our younger generations is detrimental. It is already challenging for older individuals to age gracefully in this world.

I could discuss this topic all day, but at this moment, I simply want to emphasize the importance of being authentic and self-assured. Embrace your individuality and values without succumbing to societal pressures regarding your appearance. Trying to conform to others' standards will only lead to stress and unease. Genuine happiness comes from self-acceptance, self-confidence, and contentment with your true self.
